The Gardening Group meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 9-45am to 12-00 noon.
Venue Marple Methodist Church, Church Lane, Marple
Coffee and biscuits from 9-45 and the speaker at 10am.  Fee £1-50

Programme of Meetings in 2006:-

June 2nd.  Meet at Woodbank Park for a tour of their nursery at 10.30 am.
Cost £1.  There will be an opportunity to buy plants whilst there.

June 14th.  Marple Methodist Church - A talk by Mr. Charlie Low , a bee
keeper, about bees.

July 12th.  Marple Methodist Church - Various small talks on Garden Pests.

July 20th.  A visit to a member’s garden , 2-4pm.

August 9th. A visit is hopefully being arranged to a local allotment.

September 13th.  Marple Methodist Church -An introduction to a National Collection-A talk by Mr Jack Swan.

October 11th.   Marple Methodist Church - A DVD on a well loved garden.

November 8th.   Marple Methodist Church - A talk by Mr. D. Warner - Wild
about weeds.

December 13th.   Marple Methodist Church - Christmas decorations using garden
produce by Brenda Vause.
