INTRODUCTION BRIDGE - STAGE 1 BRIDGE - STAGE 2

INTRODUCTION

Hopefully, using this set of lessons, you will be able to get an idea of how Bridge is played. Each lesson will take from 15-30 minutes, depending on how quickly you can understand the concepts. If you already know about some of these aspects of Bridge, skip over them and go on to something you are uncertain about.  I am not claiming that what I suggest for ways to bid and play are the absolute and only way of doing it. The beauty of Bridge is the endless variety there is within each hand, and it may well be that you will find an even better way of bidding or leading than the ones I suggest. That is fine. These are my ideas on the subject.

It will save you time, when you are playing out hands, if you have a pack of card handy already separated into suits. You might find it helpful to print out the set hands, and work from them off line - and then go back to the lesson after you have tried out each hand. Do whatever works best for you. Good luck.
