BALLET APPRECIATION

Group meetings are held at my house in Poynton from 1.30 to 4pm. on the fourth Wednesday of each month, with a repeat performance on the first Thursday of the following month.
The group consists of U3A members from both Poynton and High Lane.

We see a varied mixture of documentaries, short pieces and full-length ballets.
Each session has a theme, usually a choreographer or a particular ballet theatre.
Meetings are friendly and informal.

The performances we see are all recordings from the world’s top ballet companies – The Royal Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet, La Scala Milan, the Bolshoi and American Ballet Theatre.

The groups meet in my house, so accommodation is limited, but I will try to fit in anyone who expresses an interest.
