We provide Educational, Recreational and Leisure Activities for retired and semi-retired people living in High Lane and the surrounding area. We have over 400 members. There are no obstacles to joining; no qualifications are needed and there are no exams.
We run over 30 interest groups including: Art: Backgamon; Ballet Appreciation; three Bridge groups; Churches & Pubs; Cinema Club, Craft and needlework; Crown Green Bowls; Current Affairs, Dancing; Dining; Family History; Gardening; German; History; Holidays & Visits; Mahjong; Opera; Philosophy; Photography; Reading; Singing; Table Tennis; Theatre Matinee & Walking.
